Rotations Available in PGY2
Eastern Health’s PGY2 year aligns with the Australian Medical Council (AMC) National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training which was introduced in 2024. The rotation lines offered have been built to meet these requirements. More information can be found via PMCV.

The Postgraduate Medical Education Unit (PMEU) is responsible for the education, training, and professional development of prevocational doctors at Eastern Health, including Interns, PGY2 Hospital Medical Officers (HMOs), and International Medical Graduate HMOs.
Working in close collaboration with the Medical Workforce Unit, the PMEU is dedicated to supporting junior doctors throughout their clinical journey. From orientation to ongoing career development, our team provides the guidance and resources you need to thrive in your role and prepare for future training opportunities.
