Eastern Health provides specialist medical care for the assessment and management of general respiratory and sleep services, including respiratory function assessment, fibreoptic bronchoscopy, sleep monitoring, lung oncology as well as clinical management of all respiratory disorders.

This clinic also holds weekly multidisciplinary meetings at Eastern Health Box Hill to discuss and plan the treatment of patients with lung cancers.

Lung Function Tests can be requested via:

  • eReferral (HealthLink SmartForms) for practices with conformant software (Best Practice, Genie, Medical Director, MedTech Evolution, Zedmed and Shexie). Where referrers do not have conformant software (eg Helix), referrals can be made via the MyHealthLink Portal. More information about making a referral

Patients will be triaged according to their presenting problem and where possible, offered an appointment in a clinic location closest to their home address (subject to appointment availability and waiting times).
