Parking and Public Transport
Limited free on site parking and 2 hour street parking is available in the surrounding streets of the Hospital.
Failure to observe parking restrictions on the hospital grounds and surrounding streets may result in a parking infringement notice being issued by the local Council.
Bus service no, 732 Box Hill – Upper Ferntree Gully via Vermont South, Knox City and Mountain Gate stops outside the Centre on Burwood Highway.
Tram service no.75 from Vermont South to the City stops along Burwood Highway, and is 5 minutes walk to the Centre.

Taxi drop off and pick up is available at the front of the Centre off Mahoneys Road and a taxi booking phone is available in the front entrance of the Centre.
About Eastern Health Peter James
Established in 1985, Eastern Health Peter James in East Burwood provides rehabilitation and aged-care services to people following illness or surgery, or who have disabilities or chronic illness. It has rehabilitation beds, complex rehabilitation beds and acute inpatient aged psychiatry beds.
Services include Rehabilitation, Geriatric Medicine, Aged Persons Mental Health Services, Aged Care Assessment Service, Aged Psychiatry Assessment Team, Haemodialysis. A wide range of ambulatory services, including home-based and centre–based rehabilitation, are also available.
