Disability Liaison Officers assist people with a disability who need help to access health or COVID-19 services

We have Disability Liaison Officers at Eastern Health that can support all people with a disability and their carers.
We can assist with access to health services such as:
- COVID-19 testing, treatment and vaccinations
- Finding health services right for you
- Support while you are in hospital
- Helping to attend clinics
- Support specific to your culture and language
- Support specific to your own needs.
Helpful services:
- If this is an emergency, please call 000.
- Read COVID-19 information for people with a disability
- Phone Nurse on call if you need advice from a nurse
- See a doctor or nurse online at Virtual Emergency Department for non-life-threatening emergencies
- Visit a doctor at a Priority Primary Care Centre if you need to see a doctor urgently but do not need to visit a hospital emergency department
