Amputee Rehabilitation Clinic

Medical, prosthetic and allied health clinic for clients’ pre and post amputation.

Please specify on the referral if prosthetics and/or physiotherapy are indicated for the initial assessment.

Clients are reviewed in this clinic lifelong to enable optimal management of their often complex and chronic health conditions and to support their ongoing prosthetic/ non-prosthetic rehabilitation.

Any clients with a forefoot amputation or higher who would benefit from assessment and review within a medical/allied health clinic can be referred.

Clients who may be undergoing an amputation in the future (forefoot or higher) may also be reviewed within the clinic for assessment and education about the likely process and possible functional outcome if they continue on to have an amputation.
