Expressions of interest now open for First Nations artists to create artwork that fosters an environment that is welcoming for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and families. 

Eastern Health is seeking to engage a First Nations artist to commission a set of artworks for our Women and Children’s services to support a welcoming and culturally safe environment.  

The Women and Children’s Program is committed to providing a Culturally Safe and welcoming environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. This project is funded through our Aboriginal Cultural Safety Plan – Healthier Together Towards 2024 and must be completed by August 2024.

Artists are required to submit a brief letter outlining their response to the key selection criteria and examples of their previous work.
