Optus outage affecting incoming and outgoing calls

Update 6.45pm: Optus has implemented a workaround to restore services and is continuing to investigate the situation.

All inbound and outbound calls to and from Eastern Health are now back to normal.

Eastern Health is currently experiencing issues with Optus related services.

The outage is impacting incoming and outgoing calls from Optus mobile devices to/from Eastern Health devices and inbound calls to the Eastern Health 1300 and 1800 numbers.

Eastern Health patient care remains unaffected by the Optus outage.
