Eastern Health returns to Midsumma Pride March in support of the LGBTQIA+ community

    

Eastern Health staff and friends, showered in rainbow colours, joined tens of thousands of people at the Midsumma Festival Pride March.

The Eastern Health contingent was excited to be back for another year, to acknowledge and show support for LGBTQIA+ people.

As an inclusive healthcare service, we strive to support better health outcomes for the LGBTQIA+ community and cultivate a safe and inclusive health service.

Eastern Health Chief Executive David Plunkett again joined the march, highlighting the importance of standing in solidarity.

“It’s a real pleasure the be walking alongside so many of our people, in support of the community we serve.

“We are part of have such a vast and diverse population, so I’m really proud to be here and seeing the Eastern Health banner held high,” he said.
