What does the Community Advisory Committee do?
- Meets regularly and provides suggestions, feedback, perspective, ideas and advice to the Eastern Health Board and staff
- Monitors the Eastern Health Community Participation Plan
- Helps to ensure our healthcare services are accessible and respond to the community's needs
Who can become a member of the Community Advisory Committee?
- Committee members may include patients; families, carers or friends of patients; members of self-help groups and community networks; residents; and citizens interested in health
- Interested members of the public, who live or work in the central and outer eastern suburbs or the Yarra Ranges region
- People who are currently employed in healthcare or by healthcare service providers cannot be considered
