At Eastern Health CYMHS we encourage children, young people, families/carers to let us know what is important to them about using our service. We support them through formal and informal opportunities to be involved in the planning, delivery and evaluation of services to CYMHS. We encourage their voices to be heard in identifying gaps and areas for improvement and implementation in service delivery.
Opportunities to participate include feedback though surveys of clients’ experience of care, and periodic focus groups.
The Child, Youth and Family Carer participation team using their lived experience, also offers Youth Peer and Family Carer Advisors Peer support.
