Palliative Care Inpatient Unit
A 32-bed unit at Wantirna Health provides care for people with life-threatening illness. Patients are admitted for a variety of reasons including symptom control, end of life care or respite.
Hospital Based Palliative Care Consultation Team
At Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital, Angliss Hospital, Peter James Centre and Healesville Hospital, specialised doctors and nurses review patients to provide specialist palliative care advice.
