Group Times

Monday: 11am – 12 noon (Healesville)

Thursday: 9am – 10am (Warburton Sports Ground)

Friday: 11am – 12 noon (Healesville)

The Strength Training program at Healesville Hospital and Yarra Valley Health is a low impact, individual workout program that is conducted in a group setting. The program is specifically designed to assist people with increasing their muscle mass for better balance, stability and flexibility. It is suitable for those with diabetes, arthritis, chronic joint injury and heart disease.

All participants need to undergo a physiotherapy assessment prior to commencing the Strength Training Program.

Eligability Criteria

Priority is given to health care card and pension card holders, as well as low income earners.
