Children's Feeding Clinic

The Maroondah and Angliss hospitals provide a combined Dietetic and Speech Pathology feeding clinic for infants and young children.

The clinic will accept referrals if: Feeding is the primary issue

For example

  • Fussy eating / food refusal
  • Failure to thrive
  • Texture transitioning
  • Ages 0 – 5 year olds If you have already seen your Maternal Child Health Nurse / Lactation Consultant.

The clinic will not be able to accept referrals if: Feeding is not the primary issue

For example
Complex feeding issues that require a multidisciplinary service, for example Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay and Autism. These referrals would be more appropriately directed to a multidisciplinary service i.e. Early Intervention / Specialist Children's Services.
