As of July 1 2025, Victoria’s Local Health Service Networks has officially been established.
Each health service is grouped within a geographical region and is responsible for supporting collaborative care for their community, as close to home as possible. The Networks are a key recommendation in the Health Services Plan.
Victoria’s Local Health Service Network is a partnership with Alexandra District Health, Eastern Health, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, as well as Yea & District Memorial Hospital, are now part of the East Metro & Murrindindi Local Health Service Network (LHSN)
Each health service will retain its individual identity, however this new Network will strengthen collaboration, increase access, and improve health outcomes for our community.
