Support is available to you from our Eastern Health LGBTQIA+ Liaison team
We can provide you with:
- A direct contact point for the LGBTQIA+ community
- Social, cultural and emotional support
- Assistance during pre-admission, admission, and discharge
- Guidance on community referrals
- Working together with your Health Care Team
- Assisting with feedback and complaints – We welcome feedback from LGBTQIA+ community members
Who can access this service?
- Eastern Health patients, their families and carers can contact the service directly or be referred by a staff member

- There are currently three (3) LGBTQIA+ liaisons
- We bring lived LGBTQIA+ experience to the role
