Eastern Health Pharmacy supports the safe and effective use of medications across the health service. To do this they are actively involved in teaching and research.
Research into the quality use of medicines is embedded in pharmacy services.
In addition, Pharmacy supports Clinical Trial activity at Eastern health by providing pharmacy services for clinical trials ensuring investigational products are provided to clinical trial participants according to the trial protocol and good clinical practice.
