Victorian Chief Allied Health Officer Visits Eastern Health

Eastern Health was pleased to welcome Rachel Elliott, the Victorian Chief Allied Health Officer to Eastern Health Box Hill.

Ms. Elliott met with Executive Director – Allied Health Strategy, Improvement & Experience, Ged Millard, and Chief Executive David Plunkett, to discuss broader directions for Allied Health across the sector.

Directors of each profession presented recent developments in Advanced Vestibular Physiotherapy, creating faster access to neurological care for patients with dizziness, the Social Work Assistant Initiative, supporting patients moving into residential aged care for the first time, and the expansion in the Eastern Health Medical Imaging service.

We thank Ms. Elliott for visiting and for her ongoing support of Allied Health across Victoria. Her visit was a valuable opportunity to share our achievements, explore future opportunities, and strengthen alignment with statewide priorities.
