Mining and Healthcare aren’t usually connected, but recently appointed Executive Director Finance and Procurement, Rama Devarajan is bringing his vast experience in mining and the private sector, to Eastern Health.
“While my education into health has been quite a steep learning curve, I’ve hit the ground running.
Because at the heart of it, patient care is always number one”
Rama began working at Eastern Health only a short time ago but has already made steps to improve the workflow regarding finance and procurement processes.
“I’m very excited to try and bring my skills to Eastern Health to make sure the business cases we bring forward are intelligent and fit for purpose and that we give ourselves the best opportunity to have projects approved by the executive, board, and the government.”
