Starting a shift in 2024, ending it in 2025

Starting a shift in one year and ending it in another isn’t usual.

But Emergency Care Physician Sarah has a simple message for the community during the new year celebrations.

“Keep safe, we’re here if you need us.”

Working in the Eastern Health Box Hill Emergency Department, her favourite part of the job is building connections with patients and their families.

“Patients are often very appreciative of those of us working over the new year period.”
