Introducing Da Vinci Xi, an advanced robotic surgical system, enhancing surgery outcomes at Eastern Health.

Dr Sayed Hassen, Director Surgery talks about the exciting opportunities the new Da Vinci Xi system provides the Eastern Health community and staff:

• For patients, robotic assisted surgery can enable minimally invasive surgery with smaller incisions, less pain, and quicker recovery.
• For staff, the system is more ergonomic, enhances surgical precision, allows training to happen in real time, and supports more complex surgery.

Faster recovery can lead to shorter lengths of stay and enables care to be delivered more efficiently across the hospital.
