Premier visits $112 million Angliss expansion

Eastern Health welcomed Premier Jacinta Allan and Health Minister Harriet Shing to the newly developed Angliss campus.

Angliss Hospital’s $112 million building is set to open to patients in mid-July.

The expansion includes:

• Four operating theatres.
• A new 32-bed inpatient unit.
• Spaces for outpatient services.
• Capacity to treat an additional 1,300 patients each year.

Eastern Health Chair Eugene Arocca, Chief Executive Helen Cooper and Site Director Lou Ford hosted the visit, with the finishing touches being applied to the new facility.

The Premier was joined by Minister for Health Harriet Shing, Member for Monbulk Daniela De Martino and Member for Bayswater Jackson Taylor.
