Compassion, skill and steady presence – mental health nurses are lifesavers.

February 20 is a day to celebrate and recognise the clinical excellence and support; mental health nurses provide to some of the most vulnerable in our community.

Mental health nurses strengthen communities across Australia and shape the human experience of care through their therapeutic skill, judgement and relational expertise.

In recognition of this essential service, leaders across Eastern Health have shared their view about the importance of mental health nurses.
