Leadership with Heart

Jo is the Associate Program Director for Adult Acute Mental Health and Consultation Liaison at Eastern Health.  Part of her role covers the consultation liaison area in both medical and general units across our health service. 

Starting her career in Adelaide, Jo trained in a hospital for three years before moving to Tasmania. She then came back to Australia and decided to pursue mental health nursing. 

With a love for nature and the countryside, during her downtime, Jo often goes out on walks with her friends. She also enjoys spending time with family and at the gym. 

Jo’s advice to her younger self is to be brave, courageous and have a go. 

“You don’t have to have all the answers, but having a good attitude and vision on where you want to go is important.”
