New equipment to help save children’s lives.
Thanks to funding from Community Bank Inner East, the Eastern Health Foundation has assisted in the purchase of new Simulation Laboratory equipment, which will help staff save the lives or our smallest patients.
The lab features state-of-the-art tools, from paediatric and adult life support mannequins to central venous access simulators. These pieces of high-tech training equipment allow doctors and nurses to practice critical procedures like CPR and resuscitation in a safe, realistic setting.
Every year, more than 4,000 staff train using this equipment, strengthening their skills and boosting patient safety across the hospital.
