Eastern Health staff recognised in award winning research

Congratulations to Prof David Taylor, Prof Ian Davis and co-researcher Prof Peteris Darzins, on their contribution to the award-winning ADAPt Research Team, recently recognised with the Ariel Liebman Award for Excellence in Research Engagement and Impact.

The award recognises excellence by researchers who have achieved, or are currently achieving, outstanding economic and/or societal impacts.

Led by Associate Professor Michael Wybrow, the ADAPt (Actionable Dashboards Accreditation Project) team is redefining how healthcare data drives better outcomes by transforming complex Electronic Medical Record (EMR) data into intuitive, actionable insights. Through a close partnership with Eastern Health and ongoing co-design with health-service professionals, the team has developed innovative dashboards that support accreditation readiness, strengthen continuous quality improvement, and enable more informed, proactive healthcare decision-making. The project is helping create a scalable model for the future of digital healthcare.

This award recognises the team’s success in translating research into practical tools that support more informed decision-making and improved healthcare outcomes.

This project is undertaken in partnership with Dr Greg Duncan, Eastern Health IT & QPI team and all the other members of the team at Eastern Health and Monash University, and the other partners in the project: Monash University Faculty of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences (FMNHS), Monash University Faculty of IT (FIT), the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS), the Victorian Department of Health (VDoH), and the Digital Health CRC (DH-CRC).
