Eastern Health says no to family violence.
The 16 Days of Activism is a global campaign that calls for people to unite and take action against gender-based violence.
Eastern Health staff, joined by community partners, Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC) and The Orange Door walked in solidarity during the 16 Days at the Eastern Health Respect Walk in support of eliminating gender-based violence.
In Australia, 1 in 3 women will experience violence in their lifetime and 1 in 5 women will experience sexual violence.
Family Violence is a health issue and Eastern Health is committed to supporting community members experiencing family violence across the lifespan.
