This holiday season, Eastern Health Foundation invites the community to be part of its Stars of Hope Appeal, running from November to January.

The appeal aims to raise much-needed funds for cutting-edge technology, advancements in groundbreaking research, and essential training for doctors and nurses. These improvements will ensure that every patient and family who walks through our doors receives the compassionate care and attention they need to support their well-being and recovery.

Shannon Wight, Eastern Health’s Executive Director of Clinical operations, shares that generosity from the community makes an undeniable difference in the care we provide in Melbourne’s East: “While traditional funding sustains essential services, it’s the generosity of donors that empowers us to go beyond – transforming good care into extraordinary care.”

With each gift, donors will have the chance to leave a personal message of gratitude on a Star of Hope, which will be proudly displayed on Christmas trees throughout our hospitals. These messages won’t just brighten our trees—they’ll inspire patients, their families, and our hardworking staff, offering comfort and encouragement during the festive season.

Please consider giving today and help make a meaningful difference this holiday season.

Thank you for your ongoing generosity from all of us at Eastern Health.
