“It is collaborations in the industry like this, that continue fulfilling our promise to our community of being Healthier Together,” A/Prof Plunkett said.
The newest CT platform in the industry gives Eastern Health access to the latest technology. It is the fastest and most powerful CT platform, built to be upgradable as clinical practice evolves. This includes new capabilities and workflow enhancements, image quality, dose management, cybersecurity and service tools– all without requiring new equipment or learning a new user interface.
The Revolution Apex Elite CT equipped with GE HealthCare’s patented Quantix X-ray tube – a powerful tube designed to provide the output necessary to comfortably image all anatomies regardless of patient size without compromising image quality.
“This is ground-breaking technology, with the most powerful x-ray tube, we’ve ever made. The entire platform is designed to provide unmatched image quality, low dose and exceptional solutions for both routine and challenging cases for every patient,” Mr Yadav said.
