Culturally safe room at Maroondah hospital

moong-moong gak marrmak is a new, culturally safe room for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This initiative is part of the Eastern Health Cultural Safety Plan that champions cultural recognition, understanding and service re-design to close the health gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
