Starting out as a Health Information Manager, Kim Wheeler, Director Support Services at Eastern Health has built her experience through leading major hospitals and a wide range of projects.
Today, she leads large, complex support services around Eastern Health, from cleaning, food services and security to waste, recycling and patient flow. Kim and her teams play a vital role in making sure patients get where they need to be, when they need to be there.
Kim is passionate about improving patient experience, sustainability, and working closely with clinical teams, and still finds time to play netball, walk 10km every Sunday, and read her way through a book club.
