Fleur Shaw Jones is the newly appointed Chief Counsel at Eastern Health.

Previously an ICU nurse, Fleur’s clinical background provides valuable insights into patient care and the legal challenges in healthcare. 

“Working as an ICU nurse has greatly informed my current position. Health is very complex; it really helps to have a complete understanding of that. You could be taking calls from people on the wards, with simple legal questions, all the way to the more complicated matters.”

Fleur’s role encompasses all Eastern Health, leading a small team of lawyers in triaging legal matters, allowing her to address legal challenges efficiently and ensure that the organisation operates smoothly within regulatory frameworks.
