Lived Experience
More information to come
Working from a recovery oriented model, clinicians and the lived experience workforce provide an array of services and supports for infants, children, youth, adults and older adults with a severe/complex mental illness.
We work under the National Recovery Model. Recovery means different things to different people, however broadly means:
- Finding hope, purpose and meaning in your life
- Being OK with yourself and being able to bounce back when things get tough
- Connecting with friends and building links to people in your community
- Getting back to things that are important to you
Our Mental Health and Wellbeing Program staff are all trained in the Collaborative Recovery Model which supports people to develop their own recovery plan.
