Dr Sathya Rao has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) as awarded by the Governor-General of Australia.
This prestigious honour is recognition of Dr Rao's 22 years of service in the field of personality disorder and complex trauma.
Moving from India in 1997, Dr. Rao's provided treatment to Spectrums very first patient in 1997 and has since received a number of accolades including a RANZCP Victorian Branch Meritorious Award.
He is highly regarded throughout the country for his dedication to the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder and his passion for research, evidence-based practice and teaching.
