Visitor Restrictions: Update

Friday, October 29, 2021

As per the updates made to the Victorian Roadmap on 24 October , there will be no changes to visitor permissions when the state reaches 80% double vaccination (Friday 29 October).  Full details of Eastern Health’s current visitor permissions can be found:

Eastern Health will continue to review advice from the Chief Health Officer and adjust our visitor permissions accordingly. We look forward to welcoming a small number of visitors to our facilities once permitted by the Victorian Chief Health Officer.

We acknowledge the challenges of visitor restrictions for our patients, families, and carers during the pandemic and particularly in the last few months.  To support contact between patients and visitors, Eastern Health staff where possible, will continue to facilitate virtual visiting by telephone or video-link. Families and patients are encouraged to make use of virtual visits, as this does not pose any risk of infection for our patients or staff.

Thank you for your patience as we work to care for our community during the COVID-19 pandemic
