The Eastern Health Graduate Nursing and Midwifery Program is progressive, responsive and innovative. We offer over 200 positions across our health service to graduates in three intakes – January, March & July.

Our point of difference:

  • We offer a variety of speciality clinical areas including medical, surgical, aged medicine, community, mental health, midwifery, and speciality medicine.
  • We have permanent contracts of employment for all graduates
  • We offer employment 4 days a week to support work-life balance

More than 95% of our graduates remain in the health service after the graduate year.

Eastern Health has 5 pathways on offer for Graduate applications:

We are very supportive of graduates who wish to complete Honours whilst participating in the Graduate Program. We have a partnership with Deakin University for the Honours program and we also support students who wish to complete Honours with other Universities.

  • Recruitment processes including support with application and interview tips
  • Opportunities for you as an Eastern Health employee. 

It is a chance for you to meet and ask questions with our Learning and Teaching team and our current graduates.
