Audiology

Dietetics
The dietitians at Eastern Health are committed to their vision of being Eastern Health leaders in evidence based dietetic practice which the community can rely on for better food, better health and wellbeing. Exercise Physiology
Exercise physiologists accredited with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) work within the Ambulatory and Community Services Program. The Exercise Physiology group meet bi-monthly to facilitate consistent practice, provide peer education and promote evidence based care. Language Services

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists (OTs) at Eastern Health are employed across Acute, Subacute, Ambulatory and Community Services, Statewide Services and Mental Health (in generic or discipline specific roles). Staff development is fostered through position rotations; supervision; research engagement, development and dissemination; and professional development programs providing opportunities to broaden skills across a range of clinical specialties. Physiotherapy
All Grade 1 physiotherapists at Eastern Health take part in tri-annual rotations across bed-based and ambulatory/community services with cross campus special interest streams, led by Grade 3 and 4 staff. All of the Grade 1 physiotherapists meet quarterly for an organisation-wide evidence based practice seminar. Podiatry
The podiatry team at Eastern Health focuses on the assessment and management of the high risk foot. Our podiatrists work closely with the Vascular and Orthopaedic Units within specialty clinics. Psychology/Neuropsychology
Eastern Health has great career opportunities for psychologists with areas of practice endorsement, or eligibility for this endorsement, in clinical psychology, health psychology and neuropsychology. Psychologists work across Acute, Subacute, Ambulatory and Community Services, Statewide Services and Mental Health (in generic or discipline specific roles). Many of the psychology professions developmental activities are governed by the national registration body and the colleges of the Australian Psychological Society, with scope for participation in broader professional development. Speech Pathology
The Speech Pathology Department at Eastern Health provides high quality, evidence based, patient centred care to a range of adult and paediatric clients in Acute, Subacute, Mental Health, Ambulatory and Community Services, including the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service. The Speech Pathology department offers Grade 1 rotation program across 4 bed based sites, videofluroscopy competency program and training in tracheostomy and laryngectomy management for acute clinicians. Spiritual Care
Eastern Health Spiritual Care team is available to support the spirituality of all patients, residents, their visitors and staff. Spiritual Care is available at the 6 main inpatient sites of Eastern Health and the services offered are outlined here.
