Physiotherapy can assist you with managing:

  • Pain related to muscles, joints and bones
  • Rehabilitation after breaking a bone or having surgery
  • Soft tissue injuries after a fall or sports injury
  • Falls prevention
  • Chronic breathing problems
  • Rehabilitation after a stroke
  • Healthy lifestyle changes eg. Fitness levels
  • Physical health when pregnant and in the postnatal problems eg exercise classes
  • Exercise classes for older adults on land and in water.

Our Physiotherapist will start by assessing your condition and then developing an appropriate treatment plan with you. This may include education, self management techniques, home exercises and referral to community exercise groups.

Eligibility Criteria
Priority is given to health care card and pension card holders, and low income earners.


When referring a client, please provide comprehensive medical history including medications and results of any relevant investigations.

The Department of health prescribes the Community Health fees. The level of fees payable is dependent on the client’s income and whether the client has a concession card. Current fees (July 2016) are: $10 per visit for low income earners (includes HCC and pension card holders) and middle income earners. $93.80 for high income earners.
