The Neuro-diagnostics unit at Eastern Health is an integrated team of neurophysiology consultants and scientists who specialise in diagnostic tests for a range of neurological and neurophysiological disorders. We provide comprehensive diagnostic services for both, in-patients and outpatients.

- Electromyography (EMG) - Examines the electrical activity within muscles by inserting a needle. May be done in conjunction with a nerve conduction study.
- Electroencephalography (EEG) - Examines the electrical activity generated by the brain
- Routine EEG
- Sleep deprived EEG
- Day monitoring
- Ambulatory EEG
- Paediatric EEG - Ages 2 and above. Referrals will need to be triaged by medical or clinical staff prior to request.
- Evoked responses (VER) - Examines the electrical activity of the brain in response to a visual stimuli
