Practice Background

The GP Clinic at Healesville Hospital and Yarra Valley Health was established in 2005 in response to the growing population of Healesville and the lack of Bulk Billing medical service’s in the area.  We are a multi-disciplinary health service offering family medicine, men’s and women’s health, child health care and vaccinations, antenatal and postnatal care, contraception advice, pregnancy tests, cervical screening, travel advice, suturing and wound management, chronic disease management, blood tests, diabetes care, asthma management and cryotherapy. We also provide outreach services with the Eastern Health Aboriginal Health Team.  The practice currently has four General Practitioners, a Practice Manager, two Practice Nurses and two Receptionists.

The GP Clinic is part of the Community Health stream of Eastern Health’s Speciality Medicine and Ambulatory Care program.  Co-located services include: Counselling, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, District Nursing, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, X-ray and Pathology.

As well as business hours, the GP Clinic offers a high quality services at night, weekends and public holidays. 

Monday - Friday          6 pm - 8 pm 

Saturday, Sundays and public holidays
