This is an 8 to 10-week twice weekly exercise class is suitable for anyone who would benefit from strength training and balance retraining (e.g. diabetes, arthritis, chronic joint injury) and who is able to exercising without one to one assistance.
The program is specifically designed to assist people with increasing their muscle mass for better balance, stability and flexibility.
All participants need to undergo a physiotherapy assessment prior to commencing the Strength Training Program.

Priority is given to health care card and pension card holders, and low income earners.
We cannot provide services to those on home care packages level 3 & 4.Referral

When referring a client, please provide comprehensive medical history including medications and results of any relevant investigations.

Cost
The level of fees payable is dependent on the client’s income and whether the client has a concession card. Our services are for low and middle income earners.Current fees (August 2022) are:
• $11 low income families (includes Health Care Card holders),
• $17 for middle income earners
• $108 for high income earners Our services are for low and middle income earners.
