Eastern Health Human Research Ethics Committee is constituted and functions in accordance with the National Statement on Ethical Conduct on Human Research (2007).
The committee reviews new research proposals according to the values and principles of ethical conduct and scientific merit and integrity. The office of Research and Ethics is responsible for ensuring that Eastern Health governance requirements are met.
