The Social
Work Department assists and facilitates the patient's safe and effective
return to the community, be this their own home or a place of security
for them. It works in the broad context of patient and their family
for quality of life issues, and works with community agencies in achieving
maximised services for Peter James Centre clients and their families.
An additional duty of the social work department is the management of
interim care and the high level return to home scheme.
