Community Visitors are trained volunteers who visit mental health facilities, residences for those with a disability and Special Residential Services. Their task is to ensure that a person’s rights are respected, that the accommodation is clean comfortable and safe.
They are independent of the management of any facility as they are associated with the Office of the Public Advocate. They can be contacted by phoning 1300 309 337. |
