Clients accepted to Maroondah PARC undertake a two week comprehensive psychosocial rehabilitation assessment, which includes evaluation of their physical and mental well being, occupational and cognitive functioning. This is thought to be the first assessment program of its kind within public mental health services of Victoria.

All clients accepted into the psychosocial rehabilitation program must have completed the Maroondah PARC assessment program. Unlike other Area Mental Health Services the OECCU does not operate as a front line referral service. All referrals are made via the client's Case Manager.
