The CEAMHS has two community mental health centres, The Koonung Centre & Waverley Clinic. Community-based services provide assessment, treatment and consultancy services in addition to continuing care and case management. These services provide an initial assessment for people requesting assistance where a CAT service is not required.

The boundary between these two services is Highbury Road, with The Koonung Centre's catchment north of this boundary and Waverley Clinic's catchment to the south. Business Hours referrals should go the appropriate community mental health centre.
