Child & Adolescent Mental Health - (CAMHS)

CAMHS - rhymes with lambsAbout Us - For Kids

We're called CAMHS, rhymes with lambs.

Sometimes kids have worries or problems. CAMHS is a place where they can talk to someone about what's on their mind.  Sometimes the whole family gets a chance to say what they think, too.

Lots of different people work at CAMHS, but all of them understand kids and know how to help them.

Here's what some kids have said about us:

It's a place to get help with things like my temper and making friends.

It's weird because the building has a weird shape. It has lots of helping people who help me with my fears and with my problems.

It's a good place and it can help you learn how to get along with other kids. It's really, really good and it's big and fun and you play with stuff and you talk about your feelings a bit.

It's a good place with lots of toys to play with and you can talk to someone about your feelings.

You can talk about sad things but you get help.
