Workshops
throughout the U.K. and Ireland are offered every two years or sooner
based on demand. Other countries are offered on request.
The presenters are Jo Pertile, Senior Paediatric Speech
Pathologist, and Fiona Page, Speech Pathology Manager. Both Fiona and
Jo are co-creators of the MACS service delivery system.
The workshops
are presented in a short course format from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with
all refreshments and lunch provided as part of the $AUD 275.00 fee.
Also included is a MACS manual, with vital information designed to assist
the attendees in implementing MACS from the moment they attend the workshop.
The workshop
is designed to meet the individual needs of all attendees. As such,
each registrant will be e-mailed a Pre-Workshop Package as part of the
confirmation process. The package contains Clinical Pathway charts that
can be adapted to meet your individual clinical caseload. The package
is designed to begin the process of "MACSimising" your workplace
by commencing caseload analysis and initiating processes for service
delivery changes. This work is essential in the implementation stages
of MACS and best done prior to the workshop to allow you to address
your needs on the day. Early registration will allow for optimal completion
of the package prior to the workshop.
