The main entrance is open for visitors from 7.00am
Visiting hours
Visitors are welcome at Wantirna Health as it is recognised that they play an important role in the provision of support to patients. As the welfare of the patient is a major priority, it is necessary to place restrictions on visiting to enable patients to receive adequate rest and during rehabilitation sessions. Visitors are asked to observe patient rest periods between 1.00pm and 2.00pm and not visit during these times
Visitors are asked to ensure that child visitors, for their own safety, are under the supervision of a responsible person at all times whilst on the Hospital site.
Geriatric Medicine ward
8.00am – 8.00pm
Please be aware that some patients will have therapy session in between 9.00am and 5.00pm which must take priority over visitors. Visitors will be asked to wait or come back after the therapy session is completed.
Palliative care ward
8.00am – 8.00pm
Families may visit at anytime by arrangement with staff. In certain circumstances there are facilities for family members to stay overnight. Please discuss your requirements with staff.
