The Health Promotion Unit (HPU) is a State Government funded Community Health Program.

As well as being involved in a wide range of community health promotion projects, the HPU implements and manages the Hospital's Health for Life program.

This program offers a diverse range of health education courses and workshops throughout the year. The aim of the program is to assist members of the community, to better manage their health and well-being, and by doing so improve their quality of life.

HPU is also a reference point for people enquiring about the Hospital's Cancer Support Group, and the Massage Service.
