Contraception clinic
The contraception clinic is a free service for those women who have birthed at Angliss Hospital. The clinic is run by midwives with the support of a general practitioner.
Eligibility Criteria
This is a free service for those women who have birthed at the Angliss Hospital and have received care through the AMSSS. The clinic is run by midwives with the support of a General Practitioner. It offers postnatal checks, contraceptive counselling and prescription (ie Implanon, IUDs, Sterilisation, Depo-provera, OCP), pap smears and STD screening. Referrals will be made to outside agencies as required.
Referral
GPs are encouraged to used the Victorian Statewide referral Form (VSRF) which can be downloaded into most medical software. Information from
